Teeter Totter Village, a non-profit Child Development Center (TTVCDC), was founded in August 1997 by our CEO, Claudette Edwards.

Our Mission

TTVCDC in partnership with the greater Houston community:
  • –Prepares children intellectually, socially, and personally to function effectively in a global and technological society.
  • –Educates children for higher learning.
  • –Provides opportunities for children to learn and develop in a multicultural and diverse community.
  • A recently implemented program, Texas SKIP, directed by  Teeter Totter Village is designed to counteract the adverse effects of parental incarceration on children's development. For more info click on the "Texas SKIP" link on the left side of this page.
